How to Create vintage style button Cards with distressing mixed media techniques
Francisca Nunes
Are you a fan of vintage collectibles or do you love experimenting with art and craft projects? If yes, then this YouTube video is for you. In this video, I share how to transform new, printed items into vintage-looking ones.
The vintage look is achieved by submerging the vintage button card item in water and after dry distress the button cards with sandpaper. Also using distressed inks, like vintage photo and Tea Dye, to make a photo or card look older.
Adding stitches and French knots on the flowers of the button cards you can reach that nostalgic vintage look that is so gorgeous, and create a beautiful spread in a Junk journal or inside your art journal.
I’m offering 4 of the vintage button cards I use in this video as a freebie for you. Sign up and download one for you and start playing
