Flowers Magic Art Journal Flip through with Camila Garcia

Camila 4 great rules for going through the Flowers Magic Art Fest

This was my second year as a guest teacher at the Flowers Magic Art Fest, and this time, I decided to participate as a student as well. If you have been following me on social media, you know my artistic practice revolves around flowers. So, there is no other event more tailor-made for me than this.

As a student, I established four rules for following the Fest:

1. Create a dedicated journal. If you didn’t make your
Flowers Magic Art Journal for Free, join here.

2. Respond to the lessons even if I feel uncomfortable with them.

3. Repeat the lessons I liked most.

4. Mix up the lessons when you think they make sense.

This approach has helped me try new techniques and styles I would never have tried otherwise and, therefore, learn new ways to express my love for flowers.

It also allowed me to experience the Fest on my terms and enjoy sharing my takes from the lessons with the beautiful and supportive community that Francisca built around the Fest.

If you are a flower lover like me, I recommend attending the Flowers Magic Art Fest. It's full of great classes from fantastic teachers, and Francisca is a wonderful host. I hope to see you all next year to make floral magic together again!
